New Stor-Age Head Office Staff Tradition

Since the beginning of... Stor-Age, new head office staff have been required to make everyone else breakfast. This has been seen as our initiation into the office and a great way to get to know everyone over a good meal. We recently added three new staff members to our self storage construction team and they put on a great construction themed breakfast for us.

Welcome to Ross Zondagh, Tracy Bragg and Rob Zampelli. We hope they enjoy carving a path in with the leading self storage brand in South Africa. To see all the breakfast pics click here. Do you have an office initiation? Share your idea with us or tell us what you plan to start in your office.

A welcoming workplace is about more than desks and office space. Small traditions, shared meals and taking the time to get to know new colleagues can all help people feel part of the team. These moments make the working day more enjoyable and help build the kind of office culture that people look forward to being part of. As a business grows, there are also practical considerations, such as finding enough room for equipment, stock and important documents. Our business storage solutions can help businesses create that extra space while keeping their workplace organised and functional.

The idea of creating a space where people feel comfortable extends beyond the workplace, too. A house becomes a home through the personal touches, familiar belongings and everyday moments that make it your own. We explore this in our article on making a house a home.
