Stor-Age Have A Blast At The Color Run Joburg!
On a beautiful spring morning in Johannesburg, the Stor-Age Color Crew gathered with 10 000 happy and excited runners at Roosevelt High School for The Color Run. With perfect weather, an atmosphere that was primed for fun and excitement and thousands of happy faces, it was the perfect place to be on a Sunday morning!
The Stor-Age Color Crew simply could not be missed in their bright red overalls as they spread joy, happiness, fun and more than just a little bit of powdered paint. All around the start chute and finish festival at the event. Another noticeable feature was the bright red Stor-Age Color Cannons that were used to great effect and to the delight of color runners throughout the day!
Runners were blasted with the four Stor-Age Color Cannons, operated by crew members who roamed the finish festival area looking for the perfect candidates to be showered in bright red paint. Once the perfect target had been chosen, the four crew members entrusted with the Stor-Age Color Cannons moved in and fired upon the unsuspecting victim.
The Stor-Age Color crew also handed out packets of brightly coloured red paint to runners at the finish festival. Runners were able to shower themselves and their friends in a beautiful shade of red long into the afternoon as the finish festival was kept on their feet by a variety of DJ’s and performers who made sure the party didn’t stop.
Another hugely popular activation carried out by the Stor-Age Color Crew was the distribution of car seat covers to color runners who were making their way home. The bright red seat covers made sure that colored paint stayed where it belonged, on the runners!
The Color Run South Africa next stops in Durban on the 9th of October, and if you are in Durban and are feeling festive and like you could use a bit of colour in your life, keep your eyes on our Facebook page and you could win a set of double tickets to the race!
