Space.. The Final Frontier
"How much storage space do I need?" This is the most commonly asked question our managers receive. If you are looking for some storage space then here are a few simple things to help you decide what is the most ideal storage space for you.
Decide if you need access to a lot of your stored items on a regular basis. If you do need regular access then a larger unit will be better for you. This will allow you to pack aisles so you can walk through and collect items at the back of the unit.
If you do not need regular access then a smaller unit will suit you. You can pack the unit as tightly as possible and a smaller unit will save you a little extra cash each month. Remember to pack any item you may need first when you move out in the front of the unit. For example if you are moving your flat then a few dishes and the microwave could go in front so you can prepare a meal before you have to unpack your entire storage unit.
Remember you can always change your mind on the day. You can also transfer to a smaller or larger unit size as your needs demand at a later stage.
Make a list of all the items you are looking to store. You can then provide this to our managers so they can recommend the space you require. Our managers are highly trained and will be able to recommend the best self storage unit size for you.
