Stor-Age (West Rand) Almost Open

Days away from opening our first store in Johannesburg! Excited to be bringing our chic brand of self storage to the heartbeat of the African continent. We broke ground in late May 2009 and word on the street is that the new store is going to be well received by the public ..... can't wait to officially open our doors!
We've been receiving loads of enquiries recently and many compliments about the stores fantastic presence and high quality finishes.

Retail store nearly there! In line with the recently opened stores in Cape Town, the look and feel of the retail store is light, bright, clean and user-friendly. It makes for a pleasant experience for the customer.

A contractor busy with the snagging! A great deal of time and effort has gone into getting the store looking sharp!

On a lighter note, how cool is this ..... the new store is neighbours with the Misty Hills Country Hotel, Conference Centre & Spa...... it's quite a spot.

Check out this description of the spa .... "Just 30 minutes from Johannesburg and 45 minutes from Pretoria lies the Misty Hills Spa in the Country. Overlooking the Kromdraai Valley, it was conceived and designed as an African sanctuary with lush gardens and cascading water features. Guests can pamper themselves in a serene environment that encourages relaxation and personal rejuvenation – the key to vibrant health. Our exclusive Signature Room provides an entirely private spa experience. Indulge in a romantic day with that special someone or simply enjoy it with a friend." ....... impressive stuff!

Stor-Age knows how to pick em ...... what a place to work!

warwick international group

The hotel boats 215 rustic rooms and is part of the Warwick International group of hotels ......

More importantly, what these blokes are really famous for is this ...... the Carnivore restaurant ..... subtly billed "Africas Greatest Eating Experience".... needless to say that we've popped in on a few occasions.

It caters for a staggering 500 guests (no typos!) and is quite an impressive set-up. Interestingly there website lists the following ..... "In the sixteen years since it first opened thousands of local and international visitors have savoured its unique dining concept. A franchise of the world-renowned Carnivore restaurant in Nairobi, Kenya, the Carnivore Johannesburg has received many awards, including Best Traditional Restaurant, Best Restaurant to Take Tourists To 2008, Restaurant of the Month and runner-up Restaurant of the Year."

We also just down the road from the Silverstar Casino ...... with a one liner as follows ..... 'It's Not The Usual' and according to their website "...... we mean it in every single nuance of the Silverstar Brand. Visitors will notice that Silverstar is not a 'themed' casino, which is unusual in the gaming world. From the outset we decided that we would keep things 'Real' and enable gamers and visitors to focus on the Casino experience in a pure and uncomplicated way." ...... nice ....... very very nice ........ oh and there is also a trendy FTV

All in all ..... we reckon we're in a good space!
